Kahului Airport (OGG) is located on between Haleakala and West Maui Mountain Range on Maui. Kahului Airport provides commute and air taxi operations. Helicopter operations are situated in a separate location. Haleakala and/or Hana Highways provide easy access to the passenger terminal, commuter/air taxi, cargo, scenic tour operators, general aviation facilities and airport support facilities.

Upon arrival, go to baggage claim. Once you have retrieved your baggage, walk out onto the sidewalk and you will see all of the car rental agency booths to your right. Walk along the sidewalk to the booth bearing the name of the agency you have rented with to fill out your rental agreement.
Once the agreement is filled out, you walk around behind the rental agency booths and look for the sign with your rental agency posted on it. The shuttle buses run every 4 minutes so one should arrive shortly. The driver will help you load your luggage. Please note that if you have a late arrival, the booth may be closed. In this case, go to the shuttle bus pick up area, take the shuttle bus to the pick up lot and you can fill out the lease agreement out there.
Avis, Budget and Dollar are all within a few blocks of the airport. The Thrifty pick up lot is located at 740 Kaonawai Street which is a little less than a mile east of the airport. The shuttle bus ride to Thrifty will take approximately 10 minutes.
